ACD Kishtwar Reviews Performance of MIS Operators and GRS; Stresses Improvement in KPIs under MGNREGA
Kishtwar, March 10//Under the directions of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Sh. Pankaj Kumar Sharma (JKAS), the Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Kishtwar, Sh. Manoj Kumar (JKAS), today conducted a comprehensive review meeting with MIS Operators and Gram Rozgar Sahayaks (GRSs) to assess the progress and performance of various key parameters under implementation at the Gram Panchayat level.
During the meeting, the ACD sought detailed inputs from each official regarding the status of e-KYC of Job Cards, Aadhaar seeding of beneficiaries, Geo-tagging of assets created under GeoMGNREGA, completion of works under MGNREGA, and progress of houses under PMAY-G.
The causes of pendency in these parameters were also reviewed in detail and officials were directed to take immediate corrective measures for early disposal of pending cases.
The meeting also discussed the latest advisory regarding closure of ongoing, physically completed, and suspended works under the District Level Committee (DLC) framework constituted for this purpose.
The ACD emphasized strict adherence to the prescribed guidelines and instructed officials to ensure that all eligible works are processed for closure in a timely manner.
While reviewing the block-wise performance, the ACD expressed serious concern over the poor performance of certain officials, particularly from Block Bunjwah, which was observed to be among the worst performing blocks in several indicators.
Officials of Blocks Nagseni and Padder were also advised to improve their performance and discharge their duties with greater responsibility and diligence.
The ACD Kishtwar categorically directed all MIS Operators and GRSs to demonstrate tangible progress across all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). He warned that failure to show improvement in performance may adversely affect the continuation of their contractual services in the forthcoming financial year.
The meeting concluded with a strong emphasis on proactive functioning, timely reporting, and strict monitoring to ensure effective implementation of MGNREGA and other rural development schemes in the district.
